Following graduation from nursing school, Ms. Short worked for University Hospital, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, and Baptist Medical Center, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma specializing in critical care nursing and cardiovascular surgical nursing, respectively. Presently she focuses her practice in medical malpractice related to hospitals and hospital law.
